One year ago, at the age of 16, Zac Sunderland set out to become the youngest man to solo circumnavigate the world and the first person under 18 years old ever to do so.

Against all odds, Zac braved storms, loneliness, mechanical breakdowns, even suspected pirates – uncertainties that tested him to the very core of his being.

From his birth, Zac was destined to become one of the great men of the sea. With the help and support of his loving family his dream became a reality.
